Hi, everyone! Welcome to Bug Talk. I’m your host Ryan Haynes. During this time of year people are all about the tricks and treats. Kids look forward to candy, hayrides, and fall festivals. There are plenty of things to make this time of year fun for the whole family.
One event we look forward to sponsoring this time of year is the Haunted Halloween Maze which will take place October 31 through November 1st. This event is located inside the Circle Theater along our historic Sebring circle. This will be our second year sponsoring this spooky maze. This event is only open for two nights so be sure to bring your family before it’s too late.
The Haunted Maze is part of a larger event called Fall-O-Ween. This family friendly event will have something for everyone. There will be face painting, games and even a costume parade. Kids will be able to trunk or treat along the circle too. A lot of people come to this event. Plan to arrive early to make sure your family can enjoy all Fall-O-Ween has to offer.
If you would like more information about either of these events visit the Sebring Chamber of Commerce website. You may even see our mascot Ratty in some of the promotional videos.
If you are still looking for something else to do this Halloween weekend check out the Terror Trail. This event is a scary trail through the woods. It can be very intense for younger children so keep that in mind when considering if this event is right for you. It is located near the historic Sebring International Raceway not far from downtown Sebring.
The best part about the Terror Trail is the proceeds benefit the Highlands County Humane Society to support shelter animals. So your family can have a scary good time and also support animals in need. This is an outside event in the woods. Be sure to make sure you have plenty of bug spray. Mosquitos, spiders, and ants thrive in dark wooded environments.
If you notice any pests that creep or crawl inside or around your home be sure to call our office to schedule an appointment. Our pest control specialists will work with you to create a treatment plan for any specific issue. Thanks for joining us today. We will see you next time. Remember, if it crawls or fly’s, we’re your guys!
