Hi, everyone! Welcome to Bug Talk. I’m
your host Ryan Haynes. Today we are
going to talk about one of the recent
events in our town.
The 2025 Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of
Sebring Race event took place March
12-15th. This was a huge event for our
town. Race teams and fans came from
across the globe to enjoy this exciting
event.
As Sebring locals, we are fortunate to
attend several race events throughout
the week. The Haynes Pest Control
team attended the Sebring Chamber of
Commerce Race Gala which
traditionally is held Tuesday of race
week. Our team really enjoyed mingling
with other businesses and watching the
transport parade. Besides the transport
parade this is also where fans can meet
some of the drivers. Another highlight
was watching a demonstration from one
of the race teams.
Wednesday evening is the much
anticipated monthly Sebring Chamber
Mixer. The best part of this event is
where the mixer takes place. This mixer
is limited due to the location and tickets
are first come first serve basis prior to
the event. Tickets go fast since this
event is track side in one of the suites.
It’s a great time to mingle but the real
fun is being able to see either a practice
session, qualifying event or race. It’s
exciting to see the cars from one of the
suites on the start and finish line. It
brings another element of excitement
when there is such a great view.
There are so many things to see in
addition to the scheduled races. There
are several vendors with race
memorabilia. You can purchase hats,
shirts, prints of race cars and even
some model cars for the kids. Our boys
love picking out one of the toy race cars
as their souvenir. This year, they each
decided on a Porsche race car to
expand their collection.
At certain times the pit area is open for
fans to walk through and take pictures.
It’s another great way to meet some
race team members and get an up close
view of the pits. Walking in the paddock
area is one of our favorite things to do
as a family. Here, you can see all of the
teams participating and check out all the
cars up close. The kids are thrilled when
the drivers are pulling out of their
paddock and they get to see the race
cars drive by.
The best way to get around at the 2025
Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Race
is by golf cart. This is one of the newer
ways to get around the track. As a
family that has been attending the races
for years this has been a great change.
It is so much easier to get around and
the flow of traffic is better.
The morning of the big 12 hour race
includes a fly over. As the race goes on
it gets more exciting with every turn.
When the race ends there is a grand
celebration and fireworks. Every year
we are glad we are able to attend this
event and many other events that take
place around this time. The HGTV show
Home Town Takeover even mentioned
how great the races are to attend. If you
haven’t been yet we encourage you to
come next year!
Here at Haynes Pest Control, we love
what we do but it is also nice to take a
break and attend an event like the 2025
Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring Race.
We look forward to next year. Thanks for
joining us today. We will see you next
time. Remember, if it crawls or fly’s,
we’re your guys!
